I have a 13 yrs old with 54 degrees curve....

I will like to know if the method can assure at least 50% recovery?

If so how many times she will have to return after the 2 weeks intensive treatment and if she will have to do the exercises for the rest of her life or just until she ends growing (16-18yrs?)

thanks so much,

As you may be aware, scoliosis cases are like snowflakes...no two are exactly alike. Each has its own nuance. The most critical part in the CLEAR method is finding the driving force for the scoliosis. If the driving force can be identified, the scoliosis is more easily reduce.

The CLEAR method, much like surgery can give no guarantees. I can only tell you that when dealing with the human body, each case is unique. The CLEAR scoliosis specialist will have a consultation and let you know realistic expectations for your individual case as well as the supportive care following the treatment.

It is important to understand that supportive care for scoliosis is much like other important aspects of living a healthy life. Because there are studies that now show that scoliosis can continue to progress after "skeletal maturity", we recommend the patient continue with the prescribed exercises. Much like wearing a retainer after having braces removed, exercises can help maintain the gains that she makes. Performing exercises, eating right, getting enough sleep are all a part of a healthy living. The scoliosis exercises are very much a part of this life and do not take a great deal of time.

The follow up treatment following your daughter's treatment is dependant on her goals and her results. It is typically recommended that the patient follow up in approximately 3 months, or if there is a CLEAR scoliosis specialist locally, a follow up with that doctor.

Please let me know if I can futher clarify any questions for you.
Yours in health and hope,
Dr. Sue Bosler
