I have a 37 year old female patient who was diagnosed with a 27 degree left convex lumbar curvature with compensatory thoracic curve. She was diagnosed with Ideopathic scoliosis at age 13, but never treated - chiropractically, or medically. We're trying to get ahold of her old records; we're fairly certain that the curve progressed until she reached bone age, she believes that it is still progressing, as her posture has worsened, especially in the last nine years following the births of her two children. Would CLEAR be an option for anything more than palliative relief?

Absolutely,
We have had success with patients of all ages...There are studies that show that curves can continue, and typically will continue to progress even after skeletal maturity. The first focus is to reduce the forward head posture and restore the sagittal curves to the spine. This reduces spinal cord tension and allows for correction to occur. If you would like further explanation or assistance in locating a CLEAR Certified doctor please let me know.
We would love to help!
Changing lives one spine at a time
Sincerely,
Dr. Sue Bosler
