Im interested in the CLEAR treatment for my daughter she is 15 yrs. and has a 40 degree curvature in the "S" shape if she was to do the intensive treatment at a clinic and continue therapy and exercise at home what are the chances that her curvature will return.

Hi Jorge,
As you know, each case is different. Scoliosis is not just a change in structure of the spinal curves, but is a symptom of a disruption in the nervous system and its ability to communication with muscles in the body. Our goal is to help determine the underlying driving force. If we can stabilize the spine we expect the gains to be maintained. That will allow her to lead
There are different variables as to how well the correction will hold. Age, flexibilty, of the spine, condition of the ligaments and such.
The doctor performing the Intensive treatment will be able to give you a much better assessment and what her outcome should be.
Hope this helps,
Sincerely,
Dr. Sue Bosler

I am 40 years old and they found my scoliosis when I was 11 years. I was put in a brace and giving exercise for home. I did this for three years and also wore the brace 3 years for 23 hours a day. As I have gotten older I have problems with rotation. I have found the only thing to help is Chiropractic care.
