How young can treatment be started? My grandaughter is 13 months, has a 41 degree C curve and just started wearing a plastic body brace.  I am concerned for her breathing and muscle development etc. If she is too young to start treatment, what age is best? And does she really need to wear the brace until that time? Her parents want to know.,

Hi Maggie. I would recommend that you contact one of the intensive treatment doctors and have a consultation. You may be surprised at what could be done at such an early age. One of our highly trained doctors can give you the answers after evaluating your granddaughter.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
