I'm a 14 Years old and have had scoliosis since I was 8, or at least that's when it was showed up. Curentally I have a S curve, of 55 degrees on the top and 55 degrees on the bottom, that was current about 6 months ago. I'm due to go in for a check up in a few weeks. I had given up on my back brace a year ago, I was only wearing it at nite but it didn't help. So I've not worn my brace in over a year. My father has been fighting it but my doctors at FWO say I need sugery. Can you help me?

You absolutely MUST try this first ..my 17 yr. old daughter had 33/36 s curve, daily pain and appeared to be getting worse. We took the chance and went to Wisconsin to Dr. Dovorany. Two weeks of 6 hour a day therapy and we left so HAPPY. she was 20/20 when we left(her xray is on his site). She does the traction chair daily...plus various exercises. We hope to go back in spring or fall ...her goal is 10/10 or of course 0/0. You MUST do this first because the results will most likely help you alot and prevent surgery...do not hesitate, do it.
