I have been using the Pettibon traction units for some time, but have had the patient's facing the wall. Now realizing that I am actually making the FHP worse I want to turn the patient's back to the wall, but am trying to figure out how high I should place the header board, and how far out from the wall it should reach to attach the i bolts to to attach the lenght of chain. Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are very excited to apply all that we have learned with Clear Institute..

Hi Dr. Bodine,
So happy that you are excited. Glad to hear you are on board! With the traction units, try using a large eye bolt extended 3 inches or less from the wall. We have them up about 7 feet as to accomodate any tall patients.
Hope that helps.
