I was diagnosed with scoliosis in 2006 when i realized i had a pretuding shoulder bone, and visited a doctor. upon my follow up visits my doctor realized that the condition did not worsen or improved. I was told that my cure is between the range of 25 - 30 degrees. I am living in Antigua and would like to know of any possibilities necessary for me get treatment from any of the CLEAR Institute closest to my location... Hello;
Thank you for taking the time to post on the CLEAR Scoliosis Forum! I hope I can be of assistance.
You can locate the closest CLEAR Certified Doctor by visiting www.clear-scoliosis-doctors.com. There are currently 41 certified clinics around the world, with more being added every month, so check back regularly if you don't see one near you!
Swimming, by the way, is a wonderful activity for scoliosis. It's been proven in the research that compressing the spine causes it to buckle more (which is also just good common sense!), so it stands to reason that activities such as swimming, which reduce the gravitational load upon the spine, are very beneficial in promoting good spinal health.
Don't hesitate to contact me directly if there is anything I can do to help!
Warmest Regards,
Dr. Josh Woggon
