This is a hand written letter to me from one of my 2 week intensive care patient's mothers.  It is too inspiring to keep to myself.  Please do not view this a personal endorsement of myself and clinic.  The CLEAR Institute is full of these types of experiences.  God bless all who choose the paths of life which are less travelled and keep in mind that not all who wander are lost.

 Dear Dr. Clayton,

"When your talents meet the needs of others, that is how you know you are truly where you are meant tp be."

I am a firm believer that with God all things are possible and that he has a plan and purpose for us all.  This is your purpose an he is working through you to complete his plan for all of the children/all of the scoliosis patients who are blessed to walk through your office door.

I can compare these past 2 weeks with the metamorphisis of a butterfly.  The caterpillar curls itself ino a crooked shape and is stuck inside a concoon (a Boston brace for 2 years).  She has broken out of her brace, and well on her way to experience the world soaring like a beautiful butterfly.  Thank you for starting her on this journey.

For the past 2 years, doctor's visits were based on Cobb's angles and holding our breath when "the number" was revealed.  Something in my heart kept telling me that we, as her parents.....the people who were put in charge of loving and caring for her.....were the ultimate decision makers in her life and that there had to be options out there.  It was amazing to find your facility....a facility that in my heart I knew existed.

Not only did you say all the right things I had been waiting for so long to hear.....all of the things that just made sense....but you able to deliver the results.  Your passion is obvious and your personality and enthusiasm makes each child/patient feel special and important.  Your  the perfect combination of fun vs. hardwork.  You are like the "Mullet of spinal therapy.....you know, party in the back, business in the front". 

Thank you so much for checking Mackenzie and starting her on some preventative exercises.

Your office staff is outstanding to say the least.  I have never experienced an more professional, efficient, friendly, inviting, loving, caring, down-to-earth bunch of individuals.  The combination of their meshed personalities create an amazing atmosphere for your patients and parents.

It was eye-opening and refreshing to talk with other parents with the same struggles and stories.  Experiencing only a small portion of their successful results was so reassuring, and gave us only a tiny glimpse of how rewarding and fulfilling you must feel so often.  I am sure the reaction of these patients and this feeling of success more than outwiegh the negativity and criticism you must face.  Continue to be confident in your work and always keep that strong backbone.
