I am just starting to hear about this treatment. I have a 35 degree curve and I am considering the treatment but I want to understand two things: Can I still participate in sports like snowboarding? What is the long term commitment to the treatment. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks, Susan

Hi Curvy,
Each case is individual. I would recommend having a doctor review your case. There is a definitely a possibility that you could remain active in sports. It depends on way your body responds to treatment.
While we hope for reductions in the curve, the most important aspect is to stabilize it.
The committement, much like eating right , exercising, and getting plenty of rest is ultimately for a life time
