Posted By JWoggon on 29 Jun 2010 10:09 PM Hello, Dan;
I visited your blog and was highly impressed by its design & content. Keep up the great work!
I highly encourage others to take the time to visit it and share their stories as well.
There are not enough scoliosis forums that are not dominated by moderators who discourage discussion into alternative methods. I applaud the efforts of all of those who are trying to encourage discourse & research into new methods; people living with scoliosis deserve more options, not less!
Warmest Regards,
Dr. Josh Woggon |

Hello Kera, I know it's been a year since the post, but how is the motivation factor going? I have a daughter who is just starting with Dr. Dovorany so some insight on how you were able to push on through the tough periods would be awesome. Would you be kind enough to share your experience, knowledge, insights with the world? if so, I am starting a blog that will share with others the pro's and con's of both sides, along with scoliosisnetwork.com become a resource for families. Your experience may just be the one someone needs to help them so please help us by telling your story at http://scoliosisdiscovery.wordpress.com/ Dan |

Miss Kera, I had a great reply for you.....until my computer crashed =) So how DO you stay motivated. Through hope, not fear. Through being a victor, not a victim Through perserverance, not quitting Through your emerging strength, being able to overcome scoliosis and taking control of your life, not allowing scoliosis to control you. By not living in a brace 23 hours a day, not enduring surgery, but realizing you have family, caring staff, and doctors doing all they can to help you conquer scoly iosis. You show your body respect by doing your exercises, watching your posture, and sitting in your chair. In return, you get the other 22 hours a day to spend as you wish. By realizing that you are not even close to being alone in this battle and knowing that we all do little things to endure. Listen to music, draw, write poetry, write novels, blog, watch movies, meditate, ponder life....but most of all realizing that you are a wonderful person that happens to have scoliosis. You are not defined by it, it is a part of you that helps to make you unique. You will become even more than you ever dreamed by overcoming the urge to give up. We are all here for you, turn on your computer and let us help. You can do this!!! We can help ;) Hang in there girl, stay focused, and get that competive edge going and fight! You go girl! =) Dr. B |

Kera, Hi, My name is Logan i am getting a chair to, its supposed to be here tomorrow,i am verry scared that it will hurt, and since you know if it does the first time i was wondering? I am going to see Dr. Dovorany Dec. 6th i am very scared because this is my first time meeting him, and i cant handle pain very well, I know its hard to stay motivated and you probely want Dr.Boslers advise but i thought you might be able to use mine to Every time you think about not wanting to go in the chair think about your scoliosis could get worse if you dont and that you are helping it! Maybe this could help, im sorry if it doesnt but please do try it! BLESSINGS TO YOU!!!!!!! |
