Posted By on 18 Feb 2009 09:54 PM Yes, my 17 yr old daughter has used the traction chair 2x's a day for almost a year now. The doctor will show you how to do the straps. It is real easy to do once you get the hang of it.
The only secret tips I can think of are ...
make sure you put something under the legs...we put little squares of cardboard under the legs. We know one girl who burned holes through her carpet because she didn't have anything underneath(oops).
Also, when you turn the vibrator machine on, our ratchets rattle like crazy..by putting ponytail holders around them, I'm able to silence it so it is easier to hear the TV(it is kind of hard to explain ,but if you get the same rattle, I think you'll figure out what I mean.)
If you have any other questions just write on here... I'll check back every once in a while.
I always tell my daughter" it took you 7/8 years to get like this, you have to be patient while we wait for your spine to get healthier."
She started at 32/36 and is now 19/20...pain free and deformities reducing. Sometimes I just look at her back with disbelief at the change and of course, with tears in my eyes. Dr. Dovorany in Wisconsin has done a miracle on our daughter...she is so happy...no brace, no surgery !!!
We are so thankful these clear institute doctors DARED to step outside the box and try this new therapy ...our daughter is enjoying the benefits of their labor !!!
Wishing you the best,
Mary Lane |

| Dear Mary Lane, I read with interest and happiness that your daughter has reduced her cobb angle successfully. Did it stabilise? Please can you share her latest measurement? I am having a hard time convincing my child and healthcare providers around us that the CLEAR therapy is the way to correct her body and avoid surgery. Thank you. |

Saira, The Scoliosis traction chair is a very powerful part of our treatment. It should be used in conjunction with treatment from a Clear certified Doctor. If you contact your doctor they can order one directly for you. Sincerely, Dr. Bosler

Hello, Rachel; We highly recommend that you purchase the Scoliosis Traction Chair (STC) through official channels (by calling Vibe For Health at 866-520-4270). I was recently made aware of the fact that unauthorized copies of the Scoliosis Traction Chair had been made in violation of its patent; when we obtained one of these knock-offs and tested it, the frequencies were set at the incorrect Hertz to achieve any therapeutic benefit, and the amplitude (strength) of the vibration exceeded the safety standards as established by OSHA and the ISO. We occasionally have refurbished Scoliosis Traction Chairs available that are discounted but still come with the standard warranty. Chairs purchased officially also come with a Buy Back Guarantee that allows you to sell back your STC to us for any reason at any time and receive a significant portion of your investment back. This helps us to ensure that STC's are not sold to individuals who do not know how to use them. Please call (866) 520-4270, ext 1, or e-mail care@vibeforhealth.com, for more information! I wish you the best of health and happiness, Josh Woggon DC |

How much is your standard traction chair recommended by Clear Institute? I can be emailed at Vitriolicscrutny@aol.com if you have any information. Thank you. |

Larry great job getting started on the treatment! The Scoliosis traction chair is a critical part of the treatment....you can contact CLEAR directly at (866) 520-4270 and speak with Ahmelie to see if we have any chairs available. We have actually had patients that have had fundraisers to help fund their treatment and or chair. Think outside the box if you can't locate a chair. Talk to friends, family, local groups and see what you can do. I wish you success!! Dr. Sue Bosler |

| I've just started treatment and will need a traction chair; does anyone have a used chair that they do not need anymore that they would like to sell. I can't afford the price of a new one and I really need to get started using one. Larry ldfiel@gmail.com or call 406-827-2012 |

| Does anyone have experience with the use of the traction chair? We recently purchased one and will begin using it soon with supervision from a Clear doctor. |
