Hi Mikayla's Mom, Yes, Mikayla can be certain I am over here in Michigan doing my traction chair, walking with weights on my head, side bends to the left...the whole program, two times daily. Clear therapy has helped my back in so many ways..not just the cobbs. So glad I cried my way out of wearing a brace....my mom found this alternative and it has been such a blessing. I wish nothing but straighter days ahead for your daughter, Sincerely, Christina Lane |

Hi Christina! Thanks for sharing your inspirational story. It sounds like you are doing great and have a great attitude. You are so right that daily exercises can benefit anyone, and you will be a better, happier person because of your dedication and ownership of your health! Keep up the great work! My daughter likes to know that there are other kids out there working hard like she is and getting good results! Mikayla's Mom :) |

Thanks Dr. Stitzel for posting that...... I'm 18 yrs. old and have been doing clear therapy for almost one year now(one hour 2x's daily..traction chair..etc.) I always think to myself, if I want to have nice flat bikini abdominals I have to work them at least 3/4 times a week. If I have to do some sort of maintenance program once I'm done getting as much correction as I can ( I've gone from 32/36 to 19/20 so far..I continue to get healthier!!! ) it will be no problem to do a maintenance program. We ALL should be taking better care of our backs anyways!!!!! Thanks Mikayla!! Best of luck to you ! Christina |

 This is a quote from one of the most wonderful patients I have ever had the pleasure of working with....class act kid, from a class act family. "Exercises for scoliosis are just like a fever for a cold. When your body gets warmer, it may not feel good, but your body can take it and the germs can't. When you do exercises, it may be hard, but your body can take it and the scoliosis can't" Mikayla Age 7 Why didn't I think of that? Watch out for this kid. She is going to be a world changer.
