CLEAR began teaching seminars to chiropractors about scoliosis and scoliosis treatment in 2003. These seminars are sponsored by accredited chiropractic universities. Hundreds of chiropractors and other scoliosis specialists from around the world have taken the CLEAR scoliosis seminar series, online or in-person, to learn more about our unique approach to treating scoliosis.

Currently, there are over fifty CLEAR Scoliosis Centers in the United States and around the world, and around five to ten new doctors make the decision to become CLEAR Certified each year. Collectively, our doctors have over 570 years of clinical experience in spinal rehabilitation.

Find a CLEAR Doctor

CLEAR Certified Doctors of Chiropractic utilize advanced methods of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation that are not found in most general chiropractic practices. In order to ensure universally high standards of care, CLEAR created the CLEAR Certification Process. Before achieving CLEAR certification, each CLEAR chiropractor is required to complete hundreds of hours of advanced training in scoliosis through seminars, internships, and mentoring programs. They must submit case studies for independent evaluation and peer review, as well as continually undergo ongoing education and hands-on training to stay up-to-date with the most recent advances in scoliosis rehabilitation. Becoming a scoliosis chiropractor does not happen over a weekend course. CLEAR holds very high standards for its doctors to ensure that every patient of a CLEAR Certified Doctor receives the best possible care. If you know a chiropractor who might be interested in learning more about how to help people with scoliosis, please visit Why Become CLEAR Certified? for more information and resources.

Our doctors are trained to understand every aspect of how scoliosis affects the body. While scoliosis is a disease of the spine, it can also affect the heart, lungs, posture, physical functioning, and balance. CLEAR trains its doctors in therapies that improve not only the appearance of the spine on an x-ray, but also your health-related quality of life. Our doctors strive to be scoliosis specialists in every sense of the word. You can expect to be treated as a whole person – not just a Cobb angle.

Many of our doctors made the decision to become CLEAR certified because of a personal experience with scoliosis; oftentimes a close friend or loved one. They understand what it is like to live with scoliosis, and have a deep passion (and compassion) to serve the scoliosis community. They have dedicated many years towards developing their understanding of scoliosis, and actively participate in research and ongoing efforts that help CLEAR improve the level of service provided by all CLEAR Certified Doctors. This is what being a CLEAR scoliosis chiropractor means; caring about people living with scoliosis, and providing them with true hope and healing.
