The CLEAR Certification program is designed to ensure that every person with scoliosis who receives CLEAR treatment can expect the same level of professionalism and results.
One of the reasons traditional chiropractic care has such mixed results with scoliosis treatment is because chiropractors tend to use many different techniques and therapies to treat scoliosis. The CLEAR Certification program standardizes the chiropractic treatment of scoliosis, so that patients know what to expect and doctors can communicate and coordinate patient care across multiple CLEAR Scoliosis Centers. In essence, every CLEAR Certified chiropractor “speaks the same language.” Patients can bring their records from one CLEAR Scoliosis Center to another, and the treatment received will be virtually identical. This standardization of care ensures the best possible outcomes for patients.
Who Can Become CLEAR Certified?
CLEAR is an acronym for Chiropractic Leadership, Educational Advancement, and Research. Our mission is to implement an effective chiropractic system of scoliosis care to help people worldwide through research and spinal rehabilitation. In staying consistent with this goal, only Doctors of Chiropractic can become CLEAR certified. Members of all healthcare specialties are welcome to attend the first two lectures of the CLEAR Scoliosis Seminar series. These are available online if you are unable to attend in person. The final seminar is a hands-on workshop, and can only be taken in person.
If there is not a CLEAR Scoliosis Center in your area, please consider reaching out to local chiropractors and introducing them to the CLEAR Scoliosis Institute. CLEAR offers the best chiropractic system in the world for treating scoliosis. It is the goal of CLEAR Institute to certify doctors around the world in our methods, so that everyone with scoliosis might have the option of selecting CLEAR treatment.
Why Become CLEAR Certified?
The demand for alternative methods of treating scoliosis has never been greater. CLEAR did not set out to work specifically with scoliosis; the organization evolved to meet a widespread need.
Where your talent meets the needs of the world, that is where God wants you to be.
In the 100-plus years since chiropractic’s founding, precious little effort has been devoted by the profession as a whole to develop a consistent and effective method of treating scoliosis. With the exception of a few notable and talented individuals, chiropractors have not attempted to assume a recognized role in this area. Scoliosis is undeniably a disease of the spine, and it is not surprising that the general public, who often view chiropractors as doctors of the spine, might turn to the chiropractic profession as a resource in dealing with this common, complex spinal deformity.
Not every chiropractor may be interested in going through the full process of specialized training and obtaining the advanced technology necessary to become CLEAR certified. However, we believe every chiropractor has an obligation to be educated about the most common, longest-extant spinal disease in the history of mankind. For this reason, CLEAR Institute believes that the individual chiropractor should seek out and receive education and training in how to appropriately manage cases of scoliosis.
